Despite being the most popular (or populated) supermarket around, Wegmans serves up excellent sushi. They'll even make it how you like, while you wait, and they keep selling it until midnight, daily!
Bring reusable bags!
Try to avoid shopping on saturday afternoons, in store traffic is as heavy as the beltway!
Download their app. You can build a grocery list and it will tell you where each item is located in the store, and the current price.
Shop early on a week-end day to avoid the crowds... As a bonus, they may be offering samples of some of their more popular items (crab balls, grilled swordfish, Greek yogurt, Erc...)

Go shopping during a week night like a Tuesday around 10. Very few customers and you can take your time and enjoy the store until midnight when they close!
Best open food bar around! Very healthy options and so many things to choose from. Wegman's always over delivers!

You probably shouldn't use the self checkout if you have over $200 in merchandise. This is for efficient people with things to do. Bah.
Easy way to pick up a quick lunch or dinner to take home. Great fresh veggies and fruits. Love to get samples of their marvelous cheeses!
Awful! So crowded with old non working people even at 11:30 in the morning. Never again!
