I like to stand at the end of the Red Line platform. In hopes of getting a seat.

Don't forget: please board and exit the train only at a door attended by a crew member!

There are no outlets anywhere, just small metal grates that look suspiciously similar to outlets because the world is a cruel place.

Get to the bus stations early if you are headed to nyc. Wil be long lines

LOOK UP while waiting in line to buy your commuter rail or Amtrak ticket. The beautiful ceiling too often goes unnoticed.

Save up to 25% on Northeast Regional just for booking 2 weeks early!

Amtrak trains have got 120v power outlets as well as food (for sale) on board, so bring your computer and watch a movie.

Just remember, if you wanted to get somewhere on time, you wouldn't be taking the bus. So relax, you'll get there eventually.

South Station opened in 1899 at a cost of $3.6 million. A major renovation completed in 1989. Serves more than a million intercity passengers as well as over 18 million commuter rail passengers.

Stand in the middle and look at the big board of arrivals/departures.

What's with the rush? Chill out for a second there chief, no need to sprint down the stairs hitting ppl with your bags, another train will arrive in 3 mins.

Boston built the first subway system in the United States in 1897.

South Station opened in 1899 at the cost of $3.6 million dollars! Today that would be roughly $86.22 million dollars.

Bathrooms are expectedly gross.

The Train village is up! Be sure to check it out. Can you guess this year's theme?

hell on earth.

Don't try to pet the police dogs. Their partners really hate that.

Try not to buy food here, you'll get ripped off as in most train stations. If you have time eat in Chinatown instead, it's right across the street and you'll get more for your money.

Nothing is vegetarian here...
