There is an Amtrak ticket machine and a restroom inside the station waiting room. Restroom is surprisingly clean.

Taking the light rail into Baltimore is the best. No hassle for parking and very cheap to do. I love light rail
The ticket machine is always out of service and there is no ATM nearby. If you don't have cash, you'll have to get out and get a ticket in Dorsey and the train won't wait for you.
Make sure you bring cash. The ticket machine is often out of service.
Buy your tickets in advance (if you’re leaving in the morning). There is a lot of construction right now.
The Camden line is infrequently and often gets cancelled make a backup plan or be prepared to using Ride Share.
MARC trains board at the far end of the platform — takes usually 3 minutes or so away from the waiting room so just factor that into your travel time.
