Toksook Bay is a small village located on the western coast of Alaska, in the United States. With a population of around 600 people, it is one of the smallest communities in the state. The village is primarily inhabited by Yup'ik Eskimos, who have lived in the area for thousands of years. Toksook Bay is known for its rich cultural heritage, with traditional practices such as subsistence hunting, fishing, and gathering still being an integral part of daily life. The village is also famous for hosting the annual Kuskokwim 300 sled dog race, attracting mushers and spectators from all over the world.
